I drive between Corvallis and Beaverton every day. It can be an easy drive with light traffic or things can happen that make it take one to two hours longer than expected. Things that can make it take longer are (1) time change, like this week, (2) weather change, first time raining in a long time, like this week, (3) stupid drivers, (4) lots of trucks in the middle and right lanes, (5) and other things.

Time of day makes a big difference in the traffic. Leaving five minutes later can be the kiss of death.
